On September 2, Father Paolo Benanti, Scientific Director of the RenAIssance Foundation, will take part in the UNESCO roundtable “Plural Intelligences: Designing Agentic AI that respects cultural and epistemic diversity.”

Hosted by the UNESCO Business Council for Ethics of AI in collaboration with the Rome Call for AI Ethics, the online event is part of a series of public roundtables exploring the key ethical challenges raised by the adoption of AI agents across industries.

The discussion will focus on how agentic AI systems may reshape creativity, cultural production and the ways knowledge is created, validated and shared, and on how these systems can be designed to respect different cultures, languages, worldviews and knowledge systems.

Together with representatives from Universal Music Group, The Adecco Group and Wikimedia Brazil, Benanti will contribute to the conversation on how increasingly autonomous AI systems can combine technological innovation with inclusiveness, cultural diversity and epistemic integrity.

The event will take place online on September 2, 2026, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. CEST. Participation is open upon registration.
